We've been eating some from Morrisons bakery. Too much pastry and not enough filling for my liking.

It's started 😁 these were completely standard church-christmas-fete fare - 'cooking' mince pies, if such a thing exists.

Iceland good housekeeping have lifted the game slightly... definitely a step up to a hearty 4 out of 5 and icing sugar appears to be symbolic of greater refinement in the mince pie world.

Are you just doing supermarkets or will you be including the likes of greggs etc?

Also is this just for your own enjoyment?

We voted and agreed that you would compensate his efforts to the tune of £1k HARD CASH for providing this frankly essential service. I am pretty sure @Beany took the action to advise you? :?

I can't discuss this issue without consulting with my legal representative, Mr Flibble.

The other portent of quality here is a the use of a fancy shaped pie top (although it is a snowflake so Broccers would not be happy).

Everyone on the high street is fair game, including Greggs, and I also need to visit Partridges on Kings Road in Chelsea, whose mince pies hold a legendary status amongst Christmas shoppers in London. If you actually wanted some for Christmas you would need to order in advance. Absolutely yes it's just for fun :)

You should also put Konditor & Cook on your list if you’re looking at the Premier League of Mince Pies.

@Beany did no such thing. Therefore I believe you are liable to pay £500 each in bit-doge-eth-coin.
