It's completely nuts because that's around 5:30min miles which if you turn up to a Parkrun and keep that pace for only 3.1 miles you'll probably be near the top of the results massive respect

Did anybody see Rich McDowall's (Turboferret) London Marathon time? 2 hours 23 minutes - I'd struggle to do that on a fucking push bike!
That's quick very, very quick, like top UK club marathon runner time, very cool.
Aside, recent pic on the old book of face suggests it was good enough to bag him second place in the 40-44 age group, if I read the trophy right!

Not read the thread but I prefer the full bars to the half ones. Also I believe they are called Snickers now.

Try harder.
Ffs, it was a harmless joke. Just because you're Scottish, you don't have to batter everything

What part of Scotland are you from again?
Wick. I'm more Northern than literally anyone else in here.
Everyone here, without exception, is a southerner.
Typical narcissistic Northerner; doesn't live there any more.
You've got me wondering who's the furthest NSEW & most central now, I might have to start a thread.

Skim reading your post I thought you were asking who is most NSFW

My brother in law ran an ultra marathon over the Brecon's this morning. According to my sister he was leading the over 50's group at the 20 mile mark and finished 16th overall, but doesn't know where he placed in his group yet as the results haven't been published.
Absolutely mental.

Ultra running requires a special type of childhood trauma

One of my best mates got into ultra marathons and big trail running events. We went to a beer festival in the east of london (Truman Brewery) a few years back - he decided he'd meet us there by running from his house - in Welwyn Garden City. 22 miles away.
Mental, he turned up having had a quick shower at his work fresh as a daisy and carried on with a full days drinking. He said he did that run a day or two a week there and back to work.
