I needed to repair some floor boards this week and needed an Oscillating Multi-tool.

It was a decision to keep with Riobi (I have two Riobi tools - both gifts) or make the change.

So I made the change and got this:

Dewalt DCS355P1 XR 18V Brushless Oscillating Multi-Tool with 1 x 5.0Ah Batteries & Charger in Kitbox https://amzn.eu/d/3PLJtZk

It’s awesome 😎

I’m now shopping for drills and have pretty much decided on this one…

Dewalt DCD996N 18V Brushless Combi Drill with 1 x 6.0Ah Battery DCB546 & Fast Charger DCB116 https://amzn.eu/d/0ZXSttp

Unless your using it loads have a look for a bare drill as you already have a charger and big battery!

I want the 54v battery.

After that, then yeah, I’ll just get the units… 2 batteries is fine for me.

Them 54v batteries weigh a tonne. If you plan to use the drill for extended periods it gets rather painful and quite cumbersome. Great on other tools like track saws etc
