So some of the streamers/players have enough money to actually buy one, but I don't really get why Ferrari want to push their brand in this particular way.

Fortnite is huge and Ferrari has always been pretty smart with licensing it's brand for games.

My son was watching a you tube plum bang on about this yesterday.

The children who play with toy / computer ferraris are the ones who will want to own one when they have adult money.

Surely this is just the equivalent of the posters we all had when we were children?..

I always assumed Fortnite was a fantasy adventure game like RuneScape for some reason, looks like it's not!

I haven't seen the 296 from that angle before... It gives the top of the air vent/c-pillar a strong resemblance to the Enzo.

Very much not, it's ~10-20min Battle Royale style shooting matches.

It's the transitory nature of it that I think makes and odd mashup. The 296 isn't even a particularly good vehicle in the game compared to the others available and I've only bothered with it for specific challenges to get XP rewards. Unless they've some longer term interesting things to do with it it'll be forgotten next week.
