I've always been in favour of Apartheight, shortarses should polish my shoes. It's not so far for them!

Looks great from the profile, as does the rear. Those nostrils look a bit awkward.....I do like the interior, even if that main screen looks a bit too big. But 60k (for the 4cyl I suspect), so guessing £75k for the 6cyl? Certainly be close in price to a 911 for the latter.

That's lovely.
BRG, black roof and yellow caliper please.

Looks good from some angles, but a little awkward from others. The nostrils in particular make it look like it’s suffered a low speed shunt at the front and the bonnet has crumpled in on itself.
Happy they’ve continued with hydraulic steering, but 400bhp and 1400kg makes me slightly relieved I got in on a last of the line Exige 430 if I’m honest.

Just watched the Carfection video on it. Never really been that interested in Lotus, but think this new one looks pretty good. Wonder how well it will do..?

I like it but then again it’s not exactly what I’d call an Elise replacement.

They're bound to do a cup version.

Looks great in the carfection vid and the official pics, but the one in Harry Metcalf's Instagram story doesn't seem to sit so nicely

Then a Cup GT, then a 500, then a 500 Cup, then a 500 cup racer, then a club cup final mid century edition in 2050.

do you mean the design or the style this time?
They just look too big at first glance. Not looked too closely. That's my initial impression.

God car launches are pukeworthy whoop-whoop bile aren’t they?
Car looks pretty good, and I know it’ll pull off that “looks far better in person” trick the Elise, Exige and Evora manage so well.
Glad so see a V6 and delighted to see a manuel box, but the AMG engine is a bit of a result for them and it seems a bit silly that I4 and V6 are so close in terms of both std power and weight. As @scotta pointed out to me - the AMG unit has greater tuning potential for outright power than the older Toyota unit.
Pricing is far more sensible than recent strategies.
Overall - not a bad effort at all. Let’s see what the press make of it and see if folks are willing to consider the left field choice….

Finally managed to fit an LSD by the looks of it. KEF audio too, which is interesting.

The black one in Harry M's IG live has much smaller wheels - I think that's why it doesn't look as good (though I'm all for smaller wheels from a driving POV)
