Leopardsatemyface is meant to be parody not an instruction manual

Let's fall back on that famously Machiavellian misquote "Never mistake for malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity"

That's almost the definition of political power and lack of accountability isn't it?
With you 100%

As for poor administrative decisions I'd bet on a screwup/laziness over conspiracy in most cases, not Machiavelli just didn't say it more poetically.

I'm sure minorities are thrilled at having such power.
Especially ones such as the trans community, members of which are still being murdered just for existing. That's in first world countries, not third world shitholes.

Such power.

One of my friends is a professor who specialises in gender studies and they're also an international level hockey umpire. Their considered opinion is "It's complicated". Scientifically there's little effect on performance.

There's little effect on performance of taking testosterone suppressing drugs?

If the statement is there's little evidence of effect on performance between men and women then its objectively not true, but its such a stupid comment that I can't think that's what Jimmy meant.

It's a direct quote from my friend who has actually read all the scientific papers on the subject. They sent me a batch or articles to read about this.

For a slightly easier read, here's a BBC article about Valentina Petrillo.

Just to clarify, so do you mean he thinks there is little difference with men and women in general with regards to sports and how gender affects performance ?

Did you just assume their gender? 😂 They're non binary so they use They/Them.

No, this is specifically in relation to Trans sportspeople. Read the BBC article I linked to. Men and women are clearly different but I suspect that you're confusing male and post transition trans women.

Link#1 Not an investigation into performance difference in Trans people.
The majority of transgender competitive sport policies that were reviewed were not evidence based.
Indeed.

Link#2 Guidelines, not a scientific investigation.

Link #3 Inclusiveness guildelines, again no scientific content I could find.

Link #4 More guidelines, where's the data?

Link #5 Ummm nope.
...scientists Emma Hilton and Tommy Lundberg found that the male performance advantage in weightlifting was 30% when compared to women. Their research indicated that even when transgender women suppressed testosterone for 12 months, the loss of lean body mass, muscle area and strength was only around 5%...
Link to some sciences
Is there any published work with contray findings to this?

Is it's shame when the noble pursuit of equality leads to inequity, however that seems to be what is happening here.

Emma Hilton works with Maya Forstater so I’d be surprised if any research from her isn’t coming with an agenda.
