If countries that are members of this government union can only discuss these types of issues easily with other members, then it doesn't reflect very well on the government union...

etc.. :)

You know what I was saying, it would definitely be easier to discuss issues like this if we hadn't very recently told our closest neighbours to fuck off

Those people who voted to Remain will always lay the blame for the channel migrant crisis on the UK. Any other view might open up the possibility that the EU isn't Shangri-la... God forbid...

Without picking at brexit stuff again, surely it's easier to look at how we fix the problem than just saying why aren't they doing anything?

Agreed - but we can't fix the situation alone - whether France like or not, it's a shared problem and won't be solved by the French Navy escorting boats of people into UK waters and then waving them off... ;) :D

From my point of view that starts with dealing with people who want to come here from France in a sensible manner, rather than going well they're on your side of the channel not our problem.

Yeah 'cos the EU have demonstrated they have such a commanding grasp of the migrant crisis eh? Particularly when it comes to agreeing strategy between nations and keeping borders open

Once again Zed, I agree

Crisis? Other than the Daily Heil and Farage, who else considers the tiny number of channel attempts as a crisis? Other than fact light BS I mean.

Don’t blow holes in my flippant comment thanks ;)

He sounds like a Little Britain character - not letting the French interviewee finish, talking over him, ignoring his reasonable points and then saying ‘We are Brexit Britain’. FFS, it’s impossible to satirise Farage because he does the job so well himself.

Playing the man not the ball.

He had an good discussion with Charlie the plumber the other day. So isn't that terrible at interviews

Fuck me something I agree with Nigel on 😂 I did a-levels and a year at university before becoming a heating engineer/plumber, and at school I was told that trades were for the thick kids.

As for the interview- it’s taken place in a pretend pub environment, and with Charlie’s haircut and Nigels opinions I’d swear it was filmed in 1979 not 2021 😂

The decline in wages from over supply of cheap labour has made it rough for some trades. A 70k a year plumber wasnt unheard of 30 years ago.

" They are also expecting the numbers to continue steadily growing over time as more people hear about the show."

Monday 19th:
Farage – 96.3k/Peak: 108k

Tuesday 20th:
Farage – 85.3k/Peak: 99.8k

Wednesday 21st:
Farage – 71.7k/Peak: 83.6k

Thursday 22nd:
Farage – 67.1k/Peak: 78.6k

That looks more like rubber neckers looking, and then not bothering to continue watching.

If it were gonna grow, you'd think it'd grow in the first week, not drop more than 25% of it's initial audience in the space of four days.

But but but....

On the whole the production has got better in the short time theyve been going. I havent watched any sky news since they introduced the environmental half hour which really was the final straw for me.

I hear they’re going to get Katie Hopkins to present a show to address the falling ratings.
