What car and where do the switches come from?

I can't place it, but it looks like some 90s coupe with borrowed switches and a blanked off manual option.

Looks like a Murchi to me, as for the switches, perhaps some late 90's Audi.

If you watch the driftworks murchielago series the e-gear option is just the same manual gearbox with electronic actuation so it is a blanked off manual centre console 😂

That’s basically how most automatic performance cars of that era were. Hence the crap gear changes.

Was going to say, same as the e36 and e46 smg systems then. A manual gearbox with a hydraulic shifting mechanism.

BMW SMG / Ferrari F1 / Alfa Selespeed / Lamborghini E-gear (R8 too). Maserati had the Ferrari system too and all the Aston Martins of the time. Special mention for the special turd that is fitted in Smart cars.
