So I wanted to see @Maurice ’s new Exige, @Maurice wanted a good look at @revsRus ’s 600LT, @revsRus felt reciprocal urges to prod @Maurice ’s Exige, and @mik wanted to “gift” them both duck eggs to spike their addiction and drive them into a duck-egg spending frenzy leaving them destitute and ready to gift me both their shiney new vehicles for a fresh hit.

Weather forecast said “hey it will be good in the morning with light rain starting around 1pm”. Lying bastard.

We agreed to meet at Chez mik at half-past early o’clock for a chin wag and a short drive on a decent localish road. It was however raining gently when the guys arrived here, and en route to said road. Bollocks. We reluctantly agreed that it was likely to be a short day.

But said road was pretty mostly dry.

So after a ponder we decided to go further on. And once we got there it seemed a shame not to go further further on. By late morning the sunglasses were on and it was bloody lovely.

So it turned out to be a rather fabulous morning. Thank you gents.

The problem you always hit on days like this is that you are out for a drive. You therefore pass a zillion stunning backdrops and think “we should stop there next time for some pics”. But you don’t.

All the snaps are grabbed whilst people are chatting, generally ripping the piss, or whilst waiting for one of the group who has actually gone for a piss. The cars don’t get moved once they’ve been parked like I assume the pros do.

The drone was launched and returned to its box after about 3 mins flight cos we wanted to get back in the cars again. Doing any interesting vids etc just takes time away from driving and piss-ripping.

Cant use the footage without dropping it into YouTube or something, throw in some pics to hide jerky movements, add some awful music cos it’s either that or silence.

But yeah - it’s wank.

Lay phone on floor, big acceleration, everyone gets jealous, cool car vids.

Who owns the old white car? It's about time they kept up with the McJones' and traded it in for something newer.
