The Great Marmite Drought Of 2021

Sure to go down in history as the biggest issue of the year.
To the unwashed : reduced activity within the brewing industry has caused a defecit of a yeast-oriented ingredient for Marmite manufacture.
To the enlightened : You already know the pain. We need not discuss it.
Some suggest this situation is actually a far right left wing anarchical splinter group construct : intended to break down the very fabric of our society and divide us once and for all. Only time will tell.
Supermarket shelves may be bare, but joy can still be found in small local shops. Some have moved their stocks to inside their safe (naturally) but others may be blissfully unaware of the gold they hold. I have one jar in use, and over the weekend managed to procure a small 125g jar AND a 250g jar. As we are one big ov9 family - if it is too late for your foraging efforts within your own locale - I would be prepared to share small quantities with forum regulars. Just enough for a hit. Obviously I will need to cover postage and packaging, so I can do this for mates rates - £73.18 per 2.5g.
Let me know comrades.

Due to the huge increase in dog ownership during lockdown there is a Marmite substitute in plentiful supply, people in the know say it is hard to distinguish from the real thing.

You can buy 1.2kg of it on Amazon for £16.85. Well, you could - I've just bought it as a hedge against Dogecoin's volatility.

Yeah, I know, it was just a way to crowbar in Vege.
It's been that long since I've had any of them I can't remember which I liked/disliked/preferred, and I don't fancy having to buy a pot of each to find out

Can I just take a moment to mention that the greatest thing to happen to me in 2020 wasn't buying my house. It wasn't the divorce(although that was a very close second).
It was the discovery of squeezy marmite containers.
