Interesting stuff as always.
Those pastel coloured press shots are horrific! Who thought that was a good idea?
Becoming the "British Lamborghini" is quite pertinent, luxury automaker backed by a German behemoth...

Those are my thoughts too. The "pastel Lambourghini" is an interesting niche!

I'll not pretend I wouldn't mind a 2.5T wagon should I have a real need for a large car again....

It wasn't even that. It was a hand built car because the Mondeo IV hadn't entered commercial production yet, and so actually was 'incomplete' in a couple of areas apparently. Press cars were later.
