He probably had a 6” steering wheel and such badly engineered front suspension that the merest suggestion of steering input is all he could do.
Dave!

After;
Following on from the 340R roof thread, I wonder if a Pop body would fit on a Caterfield chassis

That's incredible, they've managed to make a Pop look more shit. Takes some talent.

Probably could but it's a waste of a caterfield imo. If you wanted to build an old ford trackday car, put a zetec in an Anglia.
The only acceptable way to build a Pop is as a legit gasser.

I like it it but agree it's not 100%. Maybe the wheel sizes and ride height, maybe the shape of the rear arches. I like the beige one, though if he'd painted the writing on the front tyres as well he may have had a better outcome.
Zed, I'm not thinking track (or drag) car I'm thinking road, and the rear arches on the purple have a Cater'esque profile. Also, with all the varieties and kits about you wouldn't have to use a decent standard 420 or the like.

The black Mercedes one slamming into a tree is still my favourite.
I wouldn’t dare add up all the time I’ve spent watching car show exit fails on YouTube
