When you don’t remember seeing them on that drive, which then makes you wonder if you missed a 40 limit sign

Been driving for 21 years and it still makes me wonder!!!

NSL signs are critically endangered here nowadays, they must be disappearing at the same rate as the Northern white rhinoceros. Bastard council poachers.

It really shouldn’t should it. I still hover over the brake pedal when a passenger says “it’s a 50 limit here” even though I’m reading the road ahead and know exactly what speed I’m driving at.

Doing it wrong!!!

Dave!

Just ask them when they last saw a repeater ;)

They mainly seem to be vanishing in derbyshire.

I've still to get my NIP from last weekend where my buddy riding right behind got a 77 in a 60 letter

Sounds like you could do with a speed awareness course, Dave

Not entirely joking; when I did mine last year they went through all the ways you can tell the limit on the road you're on.

Wales isn't far behind

If an NSL is dropped to 50mph, do they then add the repeaters?

There have to be repeaters, otherwise the Traffic Regulation Order hasn't been properly executed, and could be challenged in any speeding cases etc.

There are only 2 limits which don't typically require repeaters - 30mph and NSL.*

*it's actually more complicated than that!

That's what I thought, would be interesting to see if that is what happens.
