If only crypto investment returns were, eh.
I did something consistent this morning, it reminded me of brocli and crypto.
We have full fibre.

If only everything in life was as reliable as:
- a Volkswagen?
- the returns from crypto?
- a morning shit?

My colleague cashed out his RR shares at 420p the other day. He bought a month or so before me and made 46k.
Then his etherium and made 18k, he bought in the start of 2021.
Total made, 64k, not a bad run for about 14k invested in total.
He did say he had the fear when he sold it all and I can see that, the idea of selling it is horrible as it must take a lot of willpower to not keep checking on prices.
I sold 6k at 395p a share for tax reasons and at this rate will end up buying back in at around 430p, bugger.
Dave!
The thing is while these bumners are only interested in ganging up on me they've all made themselves look like fools.

I love your counter-factuals Broccers - this is the last month:
How are the Lloyds shares you sold doing?
About 35% up on the price I said you should buy at - why do you ask?

By BIL actually met someone who's made genuine real world money on BitCoin at his Martial Arts DoJo
Not sure when he got in or got out but he bought a load and then sold it and was able to buy his house outright and mortgage free with the profits.
I was beginning to think these people didn't exist.

If we'd all listened to Seb_DH on this forum when he was buying at $900 (or was it $100? It was a loooong time ago!) then it could have been us. Mind you, I probably would have sold when it it hit $2,000 or something thinking that was mad gainz

Same here. I considered putting Ā£500 in around 2012 but it seemed like the quickest way to throw away Ā£500.
It would be worth Ā£2.5m now but I know Iād have sold when Iād doubled the Ā£500 and considered myself a very shrewd investor

I know this is going back a long time ago but found it quite mind blowing when I first read it. Gold was pegged to the US dollar until 1971 at roughly $35 per ounce. Madness! Putting whatever savings you had on gold must have been the safest investment and I wonder how many retired very wealthy from that. Especially as prices went nuts merely years afterwards due to huge inflation.
