Shame both VR and GPU prices are just ridiculous now.

How does VR headsets work for somebody who’s shorted-sighted / wears glasses?

Depending on the set itself I think some people can fit their glasses on ok, for others there are extended pads for the set to give more clearance.
I mean for myopia it's perfect, but astigmatism might still need correction, my prescription for astigmatism is mild so its not bothered me when I've had a VR headset on.

I have a astigmatism prescription of 0.75 and the rift I tried 2 or so years ago was sufficiently low resolution to not need to wear glasses.

Putting the buttons around the two MFDs in is a really good touch.

I've not used a VR headset since these bad boys.

I rag on VR as being gimmicky tat, but I won't pretend that's not impressive in terms of the location mapping etc.

If the Quest 2 didn't have the stupid lock in with Facestalker I'd be looking at one. VR without doubt enhances driving/flight sims and adds a new branch to casual games, Beat Sabre is ace as are single player horde mode shooters. I haven't had the chance to try Superhot but it always gets great reviews.
HL:Alyx is still kinda by itself in terms of AAA VR "must have" experiences.
