New TDU! Hadn't even heard any rumours of a new test drive game, hope its better than TDU2, the first one was a decent game.

Holy shit. It will take some work for it to beat the originals. Aside from maybe GTA no other game has captured its niche of actually going to dealerships to buy cars, then visiting estate agents to buy a cool house with garage.

Wow. TDU was basically my goto game when I first got my 360 14 years ago. Amazing that they're doing another one.

They've been saying that they're working on another one for about 8 years, must want to take their time after the shambles of TDU2 .

I'd be interested in a new one, it'd have to be really good though. I only really play Forza games now as everything else is a bit shit in comparison.

Yeah TDU was a great game

I remember being parked up on the side of a road, talking bollocks with Foxy355 for hours in this game.

Yeah, great feature of the game.

There’s a demo of this on steam for a limited time. Just downloaded it and got about 15 mins on. It’s more like Forza Horizons arcade rather than sim but I like it so far.
Pick a car at the beginning, from an actual dealer, spec the colour, interior, wheels. Very cool. You bump into other players randomly driving or walking in the dealerships.

Driving around and I managed to set up my G29 from its own Logitech software to get it to barely work but the game isn’t communicating back any force feedback. From what I can tell it feels more like Forza than NFS thankfully so it’s on the good side of being an arcade.

Graphics are last gen, performance also not great currently but still playable.
Car itself is more like Euro Truck sim in that all the geeky stuff like headlights, indicators, wipers, spoilers, windows etc can be messed about with. There is car tuning.

All in all it feels like a 2020 version of the original and I’m content with that.
Could be a solid Forza Horizon competitor, especially as it feels like that series is getting a bit stale.

Try it out.
