Perez to miss British gp after testing positive for covid19
Hulkenberg has to be favourite for the seat, Shirley?
Aye, they have access to mercs reserve and test drivers- stoff is gearing up for formula e to start again so don’t think he’s in the picture, and according to many comments on social media posts gutierrez has an expired super license which would rule him out. Hulk is the one with the most recent experience and is also known to the team- plus it would be an up yours to Renault

I assume a big chunk of the team have to stay at home as well? So who's left to run the replacement driver.

And hulks in! It’ll be a proper fairytale story if he gets on the podium

its probably his last and best ever hope for it!
Should've let Button have a blast!
He’d have to serve his grid penalty for overturning werlein last time out

I can still see Vettel going back to Red Bull, they won’t put up with Albon.

I wonder if Albon will stay till the end of the year? The way I see it the only reason he’s not been booted back to Alpha Tauri is that Kvyat and Gasly weren’t much better. The Red Bull young driver program is severely lacking new talent.

Mercedes could have brought last years car and still got pole! They’re over a year ahead in pretty much every race so far.

Yeah 1s per lap does not bode well for the rest of the season, at least in terms of excitement. I know the obvious and sensible reasons but I wish they hadn't postponed the new ruleset to 2022, just to see if there was a change. The way things are going I can just see the rest of the teams almost completely switching off development of the current crop of cars.
Quite enjoyed the C4 coverage as it's the first time I've watched it since 2018, given I normally catch the Sky coverage through Fair and Honest means.
