Anyone else get narked by this? Particularly from colleagues that you have to work with but the last people who you would consider a 'mate'. It comes preloaded with more than a whiff of 'you're my friend so what I'm about to ask you shouldn't be a big deal'.

Boss is often used by people who've been in prison as it's how they refer to the guards.
