Probably quite similar - declared weight for postage is 1.11kg!

Got mine today, very impressed on flick through. As you say, a big lump and there looks to be a lot of content in there rather than advertising padding. Looking forward to getting stuck into it. :)

Got issue 1 today, the edges of the covers are a bit tatty. Wouldn’t usually bother me as magazines go into the recycling when I’m done but this is otherwise quite nice so I might hold onto it if it’s a good read.

Let us know - I’ve been looking to get a magazine in the 1kg range for a while now - would be awesome if it also covered a topic I am interested in.

Are they heavy? Then they're expensive. Put them down.

That's a shame. I did like the first issue.

ETA, just saw the email and they've transferred the sub to a magazine called Magneto. Anyone ever read it?

Yes I sub to Magneto and unless they massively change their content, not sure it will appeal to people who weren't already subbing to it, if that makes sense. I know the email makes reference to some modern classics now being included in Magneto, but not convinced.

I'm also not convinced (sub depts being pretty shit across the board) that I now won't end up with two Magneto subs. I've emailed them.
