As well as Ren, I've been really enjoying The Last Dinner Party.

I saw them on Later a few weeks ago and yeah, I rather liked it. I suspect that was the same show that Skindred were on because I wouldn't typically watch Later these days (he seems too anti-metal).

Newport's finest! I've seen them live and they were utterly brilliant. Can't remember who they were supporting, maybe Rob Zombie, but they were the best "warm up" act I've ever seen - had the place quite literally bouncing.

I can't listen to more than 3-4 tracks before I get bored of the genre, but sometimes it's nice to kick back and simplify things a little.

Sorry to bang on about Ren, but I just discovered the chronology of these three songs and how listening to them (properly, e.g. hearing all the lyrics) hits really hard. The guy really is an incredible storyteller.
