"Regular" C8 will be an interesting taster for when the Z06 and ZR monsters turn up maybe next year. Although a modded car could undoubtedly give you a lot of power right now.
Wonder how long until someone does a bestomod with a manual LS7.

I don't think it will take long.
My impression on Corvettes is they just aren't that polished but that is a bit dated.

Some very nice machinery to look forward to SSO.
Would you not consider the 575 Superamerica a Front Engined V12 Spider?
Certainly fits the open top bill...

Spider - retractable roof
Superamerica - hinged roof that will crack when you open it and then collect water to dump on you when you close it
net net, highly unlikely.

Jeez you Supercar owners are hard to please...
I had heard that closing it after a long drive dumps a load of road crud onto you but so just assumed ‘you had a man for that’

- not serious
However, I don’t care, I’d still love one of the 40 odd manual versions. It’s currently the only Ferrari in my lotto 10 car garage

Never meet your heroes??
In that case, if you’ve ever driven a Ruf, specifically an RT 12, I don’t want to know...

That's a hero worth meeting.
