I was just going through some old bookmarks and clicked on an old Evo sub forum on PH - seems someone has posted just before Xmas with some old photos, some of you will recognise. Link below for anyone interested:

That's me furthest back, next to my blue 106 GTI. Scott McKenzie talking to Brian Drought in front? Guessing that was the Anglesey trackday.

Added some on the PH thread. This one is for here as it contains a shot of our esteemed forum owner and de facto el presidente MattyB (and some bad fashion choices from Andy) 8-)

I don't think the mods know it exists either! There's no links from the main boards

And an example of why I only went to a few more meets, with people I trusted not to endanger others.

Yeah put me off too. As did the post on PH about the ITR driver's time in the slammer after an accident at a meet.

Yeah, smashed a biker up pretty bad IIRC? I just think do it on a race track these days. I remember driving very quickly once and finding a woman on a horse on a blind bend. Luckily nothing happened. It made me a better driver.

I was at the Elvington one, though was too inexperienced to try the track as young 'un.
