Having interviewed a number of former workers at Longbridge, I wouldn't be the least surprised. As they built a predetermined number of cars per day (with each station having a set number of minutes to complete a task, and the time set not bearing much relation to actual time spent) they had a lot of time waiting around. They had a guy who did a barbershop service while they waited at the end of the day.Explosive Newt wrote: Sun Jan 10, 2021 1:04 pmMcSwede wrote: Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:12 pm I remember seeing them on a Richard Hammond program. ยฃ12 for 5 sausages is a little cheeky![]()
"You need sausages for ze workers for production of good cars"
I wonder what the UK equivalent would be? A bloke knocking out pork pies in the corner of the Mini factory?
