The colour of the grill really doesn't help either. Is it meant to be solid'ish to opening sections as well? My last two cars have been BMWs, but just no interest in them now (other than the cars I can't afford like the M2).

I looks like someone entire unconnected with design came along and just drew a massive grill on the front of an already finished car. Though saying that, the rest of the car isn't any better.

Maybe it's some mystical magic like the Bangle ones, where it takes years to get it.

I've come to the conclusion that the terrible grills are actually designed to draw attention away from how boring the rest of the car looks.

the rest could easily be a Peugeot.

The interior is ripped of a Mercedes. They just seem to have no design direction besides sticking that grill on every generic design and copy other cars for the rest.

If you told me that was the product of a Chinese design studio, I would entirely believe it.

Has anyone checked if BMW even still has a Western design studio? It certainly seems like they've put it all on 8 red.*

Non m-sport with silver grill doesn’t improve anything really

It’s almost as if the clay model was too wide and they just sliced a few inches off the wheel arches with a cheese wire.

That really is horrendous...
