I like these new speedsters - they’re like a nicer Atom for millionaires.

Daft, surely a half height screen so a helmet wasn't mandatory would make far more sense.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

So like a slower, duller, more expensive Ariel Atom.
Not sure I see the point of them tbh.

You could say that, or a more comfortable and better looking Ariel Atom, if you're so inclined.
Since I don't think you're their target market, I don't think you need to see the point.

It’ll probably come with the heater deleted. Saves 2.7kg. Turn-in improves markedly.

To relieve “collectors” of large amounts of money safe in the knowledge the cars will never get used ? Solid business plan.

They've got to sell all those ugly vantages somehow. Chopping the roof off, getting rid of the bought in merc engine and charging a million quid seems like a good way to try to salvage a company inexorably slipping into (another) bankruptcy...

A fool and his money are easily parted. This recent spate of nearly-cars, whilst undoubtedly effective to AM’s or Ferrari’s bottom line, just smack of cynical profit extraction from customers desperate to keep up with the neighbours. It’s all rather shallow and crass IMHO.

The answer to a question no one asked.
Pointless and and a waste of resources for an already strapped Aston Martin.
