The lack of progress in terms of the number of hours in a day

So looking into UTC reminded me that the earth's rotational speed is slowing minutely - necessitating the insertion of a leap-second every 2.5years or so.

Don't we all need more hours in the day? :roll: FFS lets petition to get this accelerated so we can sort one of the fundamental problems we face. Day in. Day out.

Where the F is Greta when she is really needed? :evil:

Anyone read The Age of Miracles? About the earth's rotation slowing down. I'm half way through it (which maybe means the second half will be finished before sunset).
