I saw that one on PH. If it was a 5dr I’d have been all over it. The service history shows me what is possible.

The cheapest on AT for the year, and the highest mileage.
It looked very tidy, everything shut solidly, matching tyres all round with even wear, a few marks on the exterior plastics, a few scuffs on the alloys, but nothing serious. Looked clean underneath. 5dr very practical and we both liked the colour. But a few things put me off
- service history started as main dealer but no evidence of servicing since 48k. Doesn’t mean it hasn’t been serviced but every 9k is the schedule (chain, not belt driven). No evidence of gearbox oil changes - the schedule say 10years but the forums say 3.
- the shut line on the left rear door was sticking out a bit, didn’t match the other side. May have just been an adjustment needed, which they said they’d do, but raised a question in my mind, also as the front left door didn’t shut cleanly if you did it quite softly (other doors were fine)
- front tyres and pads were at the limit. It would be given a new MOT but I didn’t get an immediate ‘we’ll put new tyres on it for you’ if it came back as advisory.
Will look at more expensive and lower mileage ones. At least they’re all the same spec so that’s one less variable.
