I also don't get Discoveries - yet another LR product that everyone seems to think is amazing despite the fact they break down every 2yds and cost £'000s to repair. ;)
You need to try one 8-) and ours simply didn’t *

* Disco4 crank sensor went and cost me £1200. This issue caused a recall for various models in the range with the 255bhp 3.0D engine, but Land Rover insisted ours was outside of the affected VIN range. Despite me proposing that the bounding of the range they had determined to be affected clearly being inaccurate. Hardly a common general issue is it ffs?
:P

Nah, I have zero desire for one. Most SUVs in fact, but especially anything with a LR/RR badge. I think it's negative prejudice based on all the total wangers that drive them round here.
My name is mik, and I am a total wanger.

You don’t need to desire one to try one. Not remotely tactile or sporty, yet still somehow an event to pilot. 8-)

How many miles is the cut-off?

You don't live in Cheshire Mik so you're ok. If you move though and want to own a LR/RR then you have to take a course so you can get your wanger licence ;)

I’d agree with the model cars/Lego/watch thing. Do have a few RC cars though. I guess it’s just because with Lego they’re only fun when you’re building it then gather dust on a shelf. Model cars only gather dust on a shelf.
Audiophiles - the chap who buys a new silly expensive speaker and amp every year and goes on about how much better it sounds - yeah right.

Most of the really crap cars on sale, like the new MGs or Daihatsu or the odd Peugeot’s. Then you realise the people driving them can’t drive either - the market for people who have no interest in cars is staggering but I’m still surprised they all don’t just go for something with a 7 year warranty.
Then you have the market for people with no interest in cars but an interest in a badge which is even more staggering hence the sea of shit produced by premium brands.

Hybrids - shit petrol engine and shit battery.
“Self charging” hybrids - even shitter engine and shitter battery.
How about not having a sig at all?

Do you sit on a hard bench at home, or a cushioned sofa?

Comfy barges are great. Not just because a used one is generally cheaper than a smaller car.

I've never bought a car with a hard bench, they've all had cushioned seats.

I still don't get what we used to refer to as the "Max Power Muppets" (there's a reference for the teenagers).

I totally get the personalisation of cars at all levels, that its a subjective thing and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but its like taste goes out the window at some point (regardless of budget).
Cheers,

Mike.

Everything has it's place. I like a ridiculous donk and I like the kits you get from folk like Rocket Bunny and RWB. Try and replicate either of those things for £50 on a Corsa and it's going to look shit though.

SUVs/pickups/crossovers. Don't get them, nor the desire for them.

People who refuse to park their car in an available bay At local shops but insist on leaving it Double parked or in the loading bay.

Always an M4 or TT RS

I think the genuinely believe their car is so special that normal rules don’t apply to them. They mostly consume roids too.

Despite not inconveniencing me in the slightest, it really bugs me...

Just watching it ending and everytime it gets a bid in the last minute the auction ending moves along another minute. 4 mins added on in the end and price went up by £8k-£9k from what it was 🤣

What a ridiculous plan - spend a fortune putting a modern engine in the ugliest Ferrari ever made!
