Neighbour is having some tarmac laid in-between our garages today. Only bloody Pikeys!

The gaffer asked me if I'd like mine doing too for £800 cash. Only about 10-12m2 and I'm having no dealings with those shifty fuckers. Not leaving the house until they've fecked of either!

I don’t see any ethnic group, I just see groups of people doing what I described. They could be from any background or country or area, it’s what they do which makes them out.

In Peterborough, if you go round as a group doing what I described you are a Pikey. I know it’s supposed to mean Irish but I don’t relate it to that and I’d say not many from the Fens do either.

Travellers/ Gypsies are not pikeys.

When the pickets had a crazy few days in MarketvDeeping where I live, assaulting some girls in the local primary, smashing windows, stealing property, starting fights with any random person and leaving all their mess about. Everyone described them as a Pimey but they certainly didn’t sound Irish.
