It's not unique for a supercar to have a fully exposed wiper but there's more elegant wiper arms available

That’s a close match. Why does the A2 have wipers which look capable of withstanding 300 mph

Double arms give a funny arc to cover more screen, but don’t necessarily look nice- but as said, there’s more elegant ways to do it

Where's my 2.0 W4?
As @jamcg says, it's for geometry, the blade ends up flat against the driver's pillar and there's better coverage than a straightforward single arm sweep. The A2's is mostly under the bonnet line at rest, seems odd the T50 is different. Ye olde Merc setup would give better coverage I think, maybe it's still under patent or they deemed it too heavy.

Yeah, I like it. So much better for making it something other than silver!

I think T33 Targa looks really pretty dull. :? It's not ugly, but it's also not phwoar for me - although I accept it's probably more visually impressive in the flesh/metal/carbon when you can properly appreciate the scale and proportions.

- Manuel - massive plus.
- That V12 does sound glorious, and a targa has to unlock an extra audio element.
- No touch screen(s) - magic.
- Manual steering with electric assistance only below 4mph is a very interesting idea. I'm not likely to ever pilot one, but will be interesting to hear what people make of that - I guess it (the car)should be light enough to manage without the helm being overly heavy. 8-)
- No column stalks, with headlight flash (and presumably dim/dim) on the left paddle and horn on the right paddle just seems stoopid and likely to cause difficulties using them. It's very unlikely owners will do significant enough mileages in them for these to be used via muscle-memory - and they are both safety related. Not a fan of that.
- Side "panniers" look a bit succeptible to damage by clumsy buggars when open(?)
- Price means I am unlikely to ever see or sit in one, let alone drive or own one.

Interesting (to me) that Murray mentioned the Evora as his benchmark for ride/handling compromise - at least until the Alpine came along and pipped it. (16min30 approx)

I get what you mean, but to me it just looks like a nice looking car that you'd enjoy owning and running. It looks like a car you should see on the road rather than some sort of unobtainable, unusable track monster.

I am ignoring the price in that assessment though. It looks like a car that should be in the £150k bracket.

Is this the poor man’s T50 then?

I like it, looks better proportioned to my eyes, and the back end is so much nicer without the fan. The front 3/4 view from above looks a bit like a baby 918 spyder.

I think the T33 is way worse than the T50 (fan aside of course - which is stupid)

In profile, the T33 looks like a posh, targa version of an Ultima

Lack of fan in the T33 make me wonder really how essential it is in the T50, given the likely very similar performance?

I’ve just been watching HarryM’s T33 spyder video. Wasn’t particularly interested before but as it went on I thought: great, Gordon Murray has made a bike-engined lightweight Elise rival which looks a bit like a Spyker. Then he mentioned the V12 and the price of 1.89. Er, it needs to look a lot better for that money. The rear deck which was going to look too flat? Yeah, it does. The wheels don’t sit right in the arches and the whole thing looks fine as an Alpine A110 challenger which I’d expect to flop.
