Well, no one looked a bit awkward in that

Just a fast lap of Monaco in a Ferrari, a few awkward bits, going off the ‘acting’ I was expecting Charles to take her back to some hotel and the porn movie to start but it cut to the credits

I never saw the original until yesterday and that wasn’t great either. Just a camera strapped to a car going about 20% faster than surrounding traffic with poorly dubbed sounds from a racing car and tyre squeal at every corner - you can hear it shift through 4 gears in full throttle when it’s doing no more than 30 ffs
But it has a plot, a man driving across a city to go smash some ass.

That said I’m not even sure how the Ferrari rendition is even relevant, it’s just their latest car doing a lap of Monaco, although the stupidity of it is that Charles starts and ends his lap at the same point essentially, almost does a full lap to pick up the Prince (wtf?) then does another lap where the florist prostitute reappears (wtf x2) before it suddenly ends. Once again wtf.

That wasn't anything like the original and wasn't any good in its own right.

The original was the most overhyped and obviously fake load of crap ever. Not sure I can even be bothered watching a homage to it.

Yeah Rendez-vous was always sh1t. It was always talked about in the same hushed tones as the Faszination at the ring video with Roser in the yellow bird which is obviously hilarious.

About the same weight as a late 90's Fiesta but with an alllegedly 'conservative' 470hp/400lbft, and was the reason people wanted to get sub-8mins on the 'Ring for yeeears (and probably why people consider sub 8min to be extremely fast for a road car - certainly why I do)
