Something popped up on Facebook Marketplace that I wanted to buy. I enquired if it's still available, and yes it is, but "...it's in my office and until I get access I can't give it to you".

What is the point of advertising something you can't sell ??

Because you can put a deposit down?

I’m guessing it’s not something you’d normally put a deposit on.

I did wonder if that was the scam, but they've not asked for a deposit.

Is he advertising his desk just before the company goes pop?
