Re: Flightradar24 fans
Saw some BBC correspondent on BBC news earlier saying his flight to somewhere in Ireland (from Gatwick) almost got diverted to Paris because of the storm.
The plane landed after a go around but they couldn’t open the doors as because if the wind is over 45 nuts they’re not allowed so all the passengers are stuck on the plane for over an hour at that point

How about not having a sig at all?

It isn't looking much better later, especially not near the origin of the Bean.

Re: Flightradar24 fans
I flew from Kerry to Luton yesterday - the Worst take off and landing ever...
Stuck on the Ground for 3 hours before taking off, the wind buffeting the plane. Old Folks had to be helped across the tarmac buy ground staff and two of them had to hold the ladder in place. Winds gusting to 60 or 70 mph on take off with the same again on landing.
I was glad to get home as lots of flights had been cancelled - especially in and out of Dublin but I never want to do that again

Re: Flightradar24 fans
I'm giggling away at that, despite the fact it's so silly.
Re: Flightradar24 fans
Has anyone been to that Valley in Wales where the Military planes often go by? We're probably going to North Wales in July and wondering if it's worth the trip.

Could still hear these two Eurofighters as I screengrabbed this:

A 'plane emergency landed in the fields, I cannae find owt out about it though. It was recovered and gone in a time you'd be chuffed with for a car.

Re: Flightradar24 fans
I saw a commercial airliner at low level yesterday in Johnyforeignland with a fighter jet sitting about 25m off it's wing tip as it was (presumably) coming in to land.
