Still my choice for most beautiful car ever so wonderful to see more pictures of one being used properly.
Ownership sounds like quite a balance of pleasure and pain, really sounds like TWR made only the minimum effort to make the thing habitable although that's a story of itself apparently. Can't imagine useability like noise and heat insulation would detract from the driving experience at all. Getting the engine into a road spec without the warmup proceedure and low speed manners might be a touch harder.
Interesting to speculate how "good" you could make something like an XJR15 with modern engine management and some effort on insulation and sealing. Resto-modded XJR-15, heresy I know

The gentleman I sold the XJR-15 to did exactly that. He installed air-conditioning, modern engine management, and upgraded the suspension. It has made it a vast easier and much better behaved car to drive. However IMHO it actually detracted from what it should be. Half the fun in driving the XJR-15 was having to deal and adapt to the handling, engine management, and Group C cockpit living conditions.

Evo. "The Thrill of terrifying and obstructive cars"
Very cool whichever way you favour your XJR-15.
Does the new owner write about it at all?

He doesn't write about it but did participate in a video on the car:

I think the XJ220S has been moved one. He does however have a F40 and Carrera GT.
