I’ve had part of my thumb removed and I’m still managing to put socks on.

Not entirely sure, I removed 4 stumps and then flipped it whilst pushing dirt to level the hole left by the removed stump. This digger is only half a tonne and narrow to fit inside residential doorways so it’s not very stable.
Really need something bigger but used prices here are a joke for knackered old equipment and new prices are even more of a joke.
