Its strange times indeed and I really feel for anybody who has lost someone they know recently and couldn't get to a funeral, console loved ones etc.

A mate of mine used to be a technical trainer. He opened a week-long course in Dublin with “Sorry I’m late, the flight over from the mainland was terrible”. No one spoke to him for the rest of the week except to ask questions about the content. They were all staying in the same hotel etc. and they roundly ignored him in the bar and restaurant

I get they will be fed up of being asked the same questions repeatedly, but like the Cummings thing, they seem to lack any sense of self-awareness or care how they come across during this craziness.
