First time I've had groceries delivered to my door today and instead of one pack of kitchen rolls, I got: 2 x big bags of Doritos, 3 x bags of mini chocolate eggs, 3 x bags of Haribos, 2 x packs of rice and 1 x sachet of curry sauce. I should get my groceries delivered more from Tesco.

I wouldn’t fancy wiping my arse on a Dorito.

Is there figures of percent of people tested and deaths on the same day v normal flu deaths?

I'm sure this is very nasty but it if all the people who hadn't had a flu jab they may well die anyway.

And those who have had deaths sympathy dudes.

I've not seen anything but I'd be keen to find this out too. I'm told that COVID 19 is actually a cold virus rather than a flu one, didn't realise they were different and not seen that actually reported as fact...

It’s neither, it has it’s own classification. Some milder variants will be confused with a cold as the symptoms are similar but the actual virus itself is different from a cold or a flu.

The common cold is a coronavirus. There are 7 strains of human coronavirus known of now. Four which pose low or no risk and three which can fuck you up properly. MERS, SARS and now SARS 2 (COVID-19)

It is a bit of a shit sequel. 70% the same as the last one but with only a third of the mortality rate. It really shouldn't have bothered.

I guess designing and producing new stuff in a week is their day job already?

Yeah, I guess rapid prototyping is what they do all day every day. Once the design is sorted they can farm out the component manufacturing to wherever to scale up production.

Local Grocers just delivered a box load of fresh fruit, Veg and Eggs.

Sainsbury’s Click and Collect booked in for Monday. Pretty much full stock. We’ll see what I actually get though😂
Well that went well...

Never clicked and Collected before but a great system. Section away from the main shop, lad in a van confirmed the order from a safe distance the left the bags behind the car. When he was finished, I loaded the boot.

Only thing they didn’t have was Pasta(surprise, surprise) but I went into the store and got some fresh pasta instead.

That’s me ( and the vulnerable mother in Law) sorted for a week or 10 days

I’m going after lunch, managed to avoid it since last Monday apart from a couple of things at a local shop. Sounds like the supermarkets have got their shit together with distancing since I last went..

I found some flour in my cupboard and made homemade pasta for the first time over the weekend :P

This was saturday's attempt, yesterday i made the mixture slightly moister and added salt and a bit of olive oil, which improved it, and cut it thinner.

Thanks. Yesterday's was nicer though. I'd always assumed making pasta required specialist rollers / cutters but a rolling pin and knife worked ok. It's really easy too. Cleaning a flour covered chopping board after is the hardest part.

Also I made the Bolognese sauce from chunks of beef rather than mince and slow cooked it which was super delicious.

I've become a convert to Slow-cooker bread. Make a regular bread dough, bung it in the slow cooker set to high for 2-3hours and they're some of the softest loaves I've ever made. Removing the proving stage and not needing the oven make it so much easier. Going to attempt something scrolly tomorrow as you cannot get a proper coffee scroll in this country.

I had always assumed Pasta needed the special press rollers but I might give it a go now thanks.
