Just used the link in the text.

That'll be it then - mine was booked via the NHS site and had to be cancelled first.

Yep same for ours, it's an annoying step to "lose" your booking before looking for the new one, luckily there was plenty of availability.

Walk in clinic for second jabs at my closest hospital today, so I turned up and got my 2nd, only 4 weeks after my 1st.

Apparently 3 weeks or more and you're fine 🤷‍♂️

Had my second jab today. So far I've not sprouted any aerials or extra arms.

They’ve changed it so you can check availability before cancelling now. My second was booked for Aug but I’ve managed to bring it forward three weeks.

The more you read that the worse it gets. A lobbyist on his staff that he consults before every decision, who else is she paid by? Conflict of interest at all? That’s before you even consider the moral implications along with the blatant disregard for contact rules outside of your own household.

On the Hancock thing, there is a huge protest going off tomorrow in London. I wonder if they’ve been sitting on this ready to leak it so they can sack him next week, blame the extension on Hancock and then review the rules earlier? Wishful thinking maybe but if everyone thought he was a hypocritical cunt it gives a good scapegoat to divert attention away from the rest of them.

There aren't 'social distancing rules' though. There is guidance, but they can't enforce you to be 2m from someone else.

Not in the slightest. He's an idiot, clearly.

Just making the distinction.

Speaking to Sky News on Friday morning, the Transport Secretary [Shapps] said that former lobbyist Gina Coladangelo - who the Health Secretary met at Oxford university - would have gone through an "incredibly rigorous" process to get the job at the Department of Health.

Snigger.

They are all too practiced at justification of events, or misdirection from the real events. Take Hancock's photo in the story linked above - that makes for a pretty good tabloid story because it's something to stick on the front page, and then all the MP's can say "we're not going to comment on personal matters" and then people can just shrug and go "well, that's naughty and a bit embarrassing/stupid but he's not doing anything wrong professionally..."
Meanwhile the real story of whether or not a (person|company) got a (high profile job|lucrative contract) because of (who|what) they know goes quietly forgotten.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.
