I am leaning towards not bothering but its looking at around 120 quid and 850 excess for 11k cover. The excess you can get insurance for too so for err not much you have some insurance if you crash yourself.

Think Tim has a bit of experience with this.
IME the ones which will actually pay out cost at least a grand a day for basic cover, but that was a while back.
