I've never had Sky. My parents have it and are looking to change to PlusNet instead fo Sky for their broadband, to save a few quid. Will their Sky catchup services still work, or are they for some reason tied to having Sky broadband?

They’ll work. I have Sky but never had their broadband and all my stuff works.

They can use Sky Go app also.

One thing to be aware of though is that their sky Q mini boxes only work as a wifi repeater with Sky broadband.
