You better not be posting that as if it's a bad thing.

Sad when the quality of design and finish is better on the Tomy toy than a real Toyota.

The Toyota would look great if it had that 80’s digital style dash as the rest of the design reminds me of Cyberpunk. Needs old school graphics and more buttons.

Watching him staring at the timer during the 0-60 on the auto pretty much sums up 2 pedal cars for me, yes they may be faster in lots of situations, but they don't have any challenge (and reward) to accelerating one.

Being faster is the reward, surely?

The review in this month's evo is pretty gushing. I'm dubious about the new console too but it's something along the lines of improving vision with the ride height drop and having something that can be used in the proper race ones to make the switches more accessible.

However it definitely sounds quicker and more fun.

A fully specced GR is coming in at €53,100 circa £45,000

The above wasn't far off, but £60k for a Yaris is one I didn't see coming.

Far from it, something engaging and fun is far more important than being ever so slightly quicker with zero skill needed.

It’s ok, we’ll both be behind the KIA EV6 who doesn’t even realise a race is on anyway.

I hope the GR Yaris fuel tank size gives a solid 300+ miles of range - would be embarrassing to have to stop before the EV6 too 😄

Back to the new pricing; I doubt this is going to cause the original version to drop much in value. I’d still rather like one and to be fair the seat position isn’t going to bother me, while the other improvements look pretty incremental. So there’s no sense in paying £20k more than a 20k mile 3yr old Circuit Pack car (plus the extra VED for 6 years).

the fast EV6 only has a max range of 220 miles (and I doubt that's going to happen whilst using any of the performance). Even my car with its small tank could beat that (and refill in 5 mins). I expect the Yaris has a similarly small range to mine!

Big thing is even in my underpowered Mito I can happily cruise at 85 mph on the motorway for 300+ miles.
Do that in the Tesla and… Hang on a graph is worth a 1000 words here.

So I am now rather surprised to see that the Police force covering the M25 now have a fleet of undercover Model Ys which don’t go very far at all above 100.
