Apparently there are 2 freeloaders, sorry, influencers with the GR4 (Shmee and JWW) and one of them has denied it's them, so...

If it wasn't JWW I'm sure he'd be denying it in the same way.

It’s the influencer model.

Another reason why they should all be burnt at the stake.

If it looks like a cunt and acts like a cunt, it probably is a cunt.

"Influencers" for cars is a weird one, I don't mind how you tubers go about it if they produce good content, but "look at this new thing I have" isn't enough or me.

If it's a car/part review, I need to respect their opinion, otherwise it's just like watching someone like Chris Evans, rather than someone who actually has a load of experience like CH.

If they can demand huge sums for endorsing kit, fair play to them, they're obviously worth it. Still bizarre though.

Unfortunately not. There is a chance that build slots from other territories may be allocated to the uk but as it stands its going to be a long wait!

Mat Watson has one too, and I’m sure there are others with orders in.

JWW seems the type, mind you...

The freebie request I can understand, a small % of sales is acceptable as a commission, but a £25k kickback is just greed.

Seems completely bizarre given what I would presume they might make as a bottom-line profit on a suspension kit, combined with the limited market of the GR Yaris.

A percentage of sales is horrific too. A disgusting part of modern life.

Schmee's manager has been vigorously denying it in the thread. Keeps mentioning James.

Whom ever it is needs a slap and shaming. Tossbag!

Suggestion in the thread that it's JWW.
Seems bizarre given that Litchfield have a higher profile than most you tubers.

I don't think there's a huge issue if it's a percentage of sales of customers who actively have been referred by someone (and declare that is the case).

And I don't see any issue with a company paying to have someone endorse their product and put it on their platform. That's just basic sales and marketing.

But it sounds like that wasn't the case here - sounds more like someone has a VERY inflated view of themselves!

There's a couple of Toyota dealers on Autotrader with slots this year at RRP ?

I don't consider Watson an influencer though. He's an employee of CarWow who does car reviews and drag races that are shown on YouTube. I know he has his own 'Mat Watson on Cars' channel, but that has a fraction of the viewers and subs that the CarWow channel does. His no more an 'influencer' than anyone else.

Either fishing, out of date adverts or non circuit packs, in the last 2 weeks the availability has gone from September to December to May.
