As far as I know, it’s whether the car has a B pillar or not. B pillar is a 2 door saloon, no B pillar is a coupe.
It’s probably not a hard and fast rule though.

Lovely car. Does it have the 5-speed ZF box being the TF?
I confess a soft spot for Avis as my Grand father had a TA14 when I was a nipper.
Yep, it is the 5-speed. The gear stick is incredibly small, it's like a little computer joystick.

I'd call it modest and unobtrusive with a dash of understated confidence!

drcarlos Didn't realise the scoobies had frameless windows all round - that is weird!

So will the cybertruck also be a coupe?
6 series has a B pillar but it says coupe on the back. Most odd.
Mito has frameless windows so is it a coupe?
Is the Peugeot 508 a coupe or a saloon? Or a Grancoupe? Or is that a BMW only thing?
So many questions, so few answers

I think the only hard and fast rule is - it's a Coupe if the manufacturer says it is.

I'm not sure, but the penis mightier than the sword. That being the case this thread is easily better that the Sunbeam Rapier and the Oldsmobile Cutlass.

Looks like Inspector Linleys car in the 90's TV series, I guess that was a Bristol?
Is it going to get a 2JZ swap?

Google says Lynley’s was a Bristol 410. Same kind of style.
No engine swaps ! I want him to drive it and enjoy it as much as possible before he starts fiddling with it.
