Influencers

Lotus loaned this lucky sod an Exige for some time last year, so one of the blerks on the forum sent a link to his new Loan car.

I don’t think this is ever going to be anything other than very rare, and it looks like it was designed to fit Tom Thumb. Door arrangement will be interesting when it is windy.....

Is the idea of being an influencer simply that you get wet-your-pants excited about absolutely everything? :?

And even moreso

My dad couldn't believe me when I told him Ronaldo now earns more each year for his Instagram posts than playing football. At least he has talent tho unlike this lot.

Whilst perhaps not to your taste, I suspect they’re doing pretty good in their own field.

Influencers are what ‘socialites’ were in the noughties. You wouldn’t have thought we could discover a more vapid class of people to sell us things but there you are.

Sort of got to admire the balls and arrogance of someone who calls themselves an ‘influencer’.

Is "influencer" a title one gives oneself or is it like "top fan" shite n FB? That appears to be if you like half a dozen posts you get an invite.

I am not on IG, didn't even know IG was short for it until very recently but I doubt anyone on IG is influencing white middle aged married men?

The company I work for works with influencers for most of our marketing.

Most of the people work hard to maintain their profile and relationships with the companies they work with.

Being in fashion the people we work with model and work on their own photography or video content.

Influencer is a catch all term for people who do this kind of work and have a social media profile that makes it worth our while working with them.

We do similar with YouTubers, cheaper to throw them an early demo and let them do all the work, and it's right at the core audience.
