The people who did our Mini stripes quoted 50 quid for both. Think that's a decent price.

Pleased I decided to get this done.
Ran my other half into town earlier in the golf - it did 16mpg, Boxster hovers around 20 driven at the same speed. Not bad
I also found the advert from when it was last sold - slightly better than the ebay one
https://www.acklamcarcentre.co.uk/sold- ... nvertible/
I bought my first 200sx from them.

I drive past there regularly (or did) they are in the roughest part of Middlesbrough and it always amazes me the value of stock they have exposed!

Nah, Linthorpe is the nice part, hell, there are streets near Acklam car centre where even the police won't go!

The bore scope was at Redline Racing if you know where that is.

Yep, Redline Racing is in Stockton just outside Middlesbrough. They have a good reputation.

I'm very lucky my car is a good one. The guy who sold it to me did know he would be having it back if it was a lemon.

Cheers just seen this !
Sneaked out in it this evening to a fairly deserted Derbyshire. It's so much better with a bit of grip available and the breaks do work which saved a few sheeps and baby sheeps in Chatsworth.
The roof elastic does need attention tho as the drivers side doesnt go back in place properly without guidance.

I’ve been in that shop about a hundred times. I can’t stand the things but my missus loves them. (One side of my family is from Youlgrave).

Can't say I'm a fan either
Lots of great roads around there as you'll probably know.

Had this 3 years now. Got to say it's been one of the best cars I've owned. No rattles or squeaks or bore scoring
.

Time flies - what sort of miles have you covered in that period?

It's nearly at 65k so 20 including being locked up for a while
I always thought the costs would be high but it's far less than an M BMW or being tied into dealer 'servicing'.
The fuel comp says av 22mpg which isn't that bad either.

I regret selling mine as it's appreciated in value and the new owner is having a whale of a time.
