Now I've got absolutely no interest in flight sims, but the tech here is incredible. The lighting at 1:24 is something else.

I hope the standard game will be like that and run on a half decent PC. I reckon each city will end up being a bloody DLC though.

Yup, I 'paused' my spend on Prepar3d a few weeks ago due to this. Will probably just pick up one more tube-liner to round it off. Nice to see MS getting back into the game.

That looks incredible. I haven't played a sim flight sim since C64 days. I wonder what 4k PC specs will be.

If anything is going to convince me to spend £300+ on a new GPU, it's this.

Just checked Rock Paper Shotgun and their recommended choice for a 4k card is the RTX 2080 Super at a bargaintastic £660....
Excel 97 it is.

Maybe with everything at ultra at 4K.
To match or beat an Xbox 1x doesn't need an amazingly powerful pc so depends what they've optimised the game for I suppose.

Using a Steam Controller 90% of the time for Elite Dangerous I'm not sure a HOTAS setup would actually improve my enjoyment that much.

When I searched previously that was one of the first to come up, there's another with more 'trad' looking engine power controls which will probably do the job just as well and was a lot cheaper IIRC. Cannot find it now though.

When we were in Sydney this was tight next to our hotel.
Unfortunately i didnt have a spare day to go and do it as we had planned to visit friends and were only there for 4 days.

Lots of content appearing now for this, launch on August 18th. Top version ain’t cheap but tbf it does look outstanding. And because it streams a lot of the scenery, seems you don’t need a mega GPU to have a decent experience, either. Only Reverb VR support at launch though, Rift a little later. Defo be getting it.

I’ve been reading a lot of the press coverage of this, it looks properly stunning and sounds like its very accessible whilst also offering lots of advanced features for those who want them. I used to love a good flight sim!
Unfortunately I don’t have a gaming PC at the moment, but I see its also due out on Xbox One at a later date.

I've got a lot of money invested in X-Plane 11 and payware scenery and planes so I'll not be abandoning that anytime soon, but I did spend a quid to join the XBox Game Pass for PC so I get the basic version of MSFS2020 for "free".
It does look good. My i9 + 1080ti should run it fairly well.
