Posting from a mobile network
Posting from a mobile network
Often when I want to post over 4G it says that the IP is banned. Not the end of the world, but mildly irritating.
Re: Posting from a mobile network
There were 3 specific IP addresses on the banned list, so you must have been really unlucky to get one of those. Or I'd banned you in the past and couldn't remember why Either way, I've removed them.
Re: Posting from a mobile network
Seems to always happen at work. Cheers Matty!
Re: Posting from a mobile network
I don't know how IPs work for 4G, is it based on the transmitter?
Re: Posting from a mobile network
I know ScottA has a similar problem earlier this week.

Re: Posting from a mobile network
I’ve been banned from posting on 4G in the past. Usually, flight mode and then back to normal sorts it.
Cheers,

Re: Posting from a mobile network
It’s happened a few times to me too.
Re: Posting from a mobile network
Still doing it for me.
Re: Posting from a mobile network
ScottA is still doing it for you Duncs? I thought you guys got on well when we met up....
Re: Posting from a mobile network
The only other thing it could be is the setting "Check IP against DNS Blackhole List"
I thought it was only on registration, but it may actually be an anytime thing. I've turned it off, registrations are still manual anyway so it shouldn't impact anything. Maybe you keep getting into the blackhole, Duncs.
