Don’t confuse it with their Cinnamon Club bistro style locations, “Cinnamon Kitchen” which in my experience are fine at best.
Agreed - Cinnamon Club in the library is excellent.

I used to work in Westminster and still want to try that place.

Meanwhile, more home efforts. Korma and chickpea and pepper.

I've watched a few videos that build on the Kris Dhillon base gravy typically with carrot, bell peppers and more spices.

They also seem to just bung it all in the pan and cook it for an hour+ or use a pressure cooker which saves some steps and time.

Gah, we were going to go to Agraahs on Friday coming, but they are only open till 2pm, and we can't quite justify fucking off out the office at midday or before...

...but East have made space for us and told us to just come down, chill out and enjoy ourselves.

Again, not the best food in the world, but being pally with the owners means we can get great service from 'em, which is part of the experience.

The starters at East are pretty good compared to the main curries so we're all considering having a massive starter platter - starters for daaaays - and pigging out on 'em.

I think it is, you know, but we've never been there. I'll have to bring it up with the FatFuck collective in the office!

Post Christmas curry urge. Also feeling a bit homesick.
Chicken thighs marinated in yogurt and tikka powder mix.

Cooked on the Weber GA with a Kettle BBQ Bits riser.

Then turned into a hot Butter Chicken Tikka curry served with sag paneer, tarka dhal and poppadoms.

Fucking awesome and therapeutic 8-)
