I get these "MIRACLE HEATER" ads popping up on youtube etc, and I'm always amazed that folks are taken in by their fanciful claims. Actually I'm not - I guess if you are fed up with crazy heating costs, and have no real idea about that electricity stuff or what any of the numbers mean...... you'll give in to the solution they cynically wave in front of you..... but FFS why not speak to someone who does have at least some level of understand first?
Obviously these units give out far more heat than their power figures would suggest but you sometimes see them state 1200w, or 800w etc etc.
Good to see BigClive testing one. Settles to an output of....... 300w. Fine if you live in a cupboard. Good to see they aren't inherently dangerous at least (sweeping generalisation).

Pardon? Are they generally mislabelled? Electric heaters are pretty much 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat, but short of a heat pump you ain't getting more than that.

No - the ads I’ve seen rarely state numbers, just gush about how they are tiny but can heat a 5 bed house or whatevah.

(apart from the exhaust). Mmm, fish finger sandwich...
Has it popped up in a Harris vid (or vice versa) yet?

Sorry for the Facebook link - Eddie Kidd doing a televised jump:
Oh my word that's insane! The launch ramp angle seems tiny compared to the massive jumps people do now. He seems to be relying solely on speed, but is landing on a downhill piece of grass and expecting a few guys with a tarpualin to catch him
Poor guys that got taken out by the bike though, he properly demolished about three of them.

I got to seem him jump some busses in a GAA field in Co. Roscommon when I was a kid. Still, possibly the most random thing I've ever been to...

Commentary at the start was cut in a way that confused me - I thought I was about to watch a low-ground rehersal jump with no buses, but they were clearly describing what had been done in preparation for this.
And as per Gavster - that "ramp" looks comically gentle compared to those of today's stunt loonies - and shirley there's a broken bone or two for the poor bloke who got flipped.

The lack of slowdown space and a few guys in white coats holding a bed sheet to stop him seemed hopelessly optimistic.

Nasty high-speed blowout for this 911borghini.
Definitely NOT AI.
Good that the car in front recognises the danger and hops the barrier to safety.
