He can be as funny as he wants, if the direction he's leading the party in makes them unelectable, he's still as much use as a chocolate fucking teapot.

I bet there are some Brexiteers in my local who are feeling really frustrated right now.NotoriousREV wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2019 6:06 pm “Prorogation is nothing to do with Brexit”

Both statements can’t be true...

Depends on which side you were on. Although it is currently a fine margin.

Let’s get this right, they voted leave thinking they would be ‘taking back control’, they get fed up with May, think all remainers are liars (some brexiteers even suggesting remainers should be shot for high treason or some such bollocks) and in comes BJ. They all love BJ and how he’s ‘getting on with it’ by suspending parliament to allow Brexit to progress uninterrupted. Highest court in the land rules against suspension of parliament deeming it illegal with absolutely no help from EU required to enact the UK’s own law. BJ seen to have broken the law and potentially lied to the queen. Brexit party leader Nigel Farage then sticks his head up and condemns the suspension of parliament and all Brexit voters go to ground because they were found to be supporting something illegal, potentially lied to the very queen they hold the result of the referendums name to and the ‘power they voted to take back’ whallops them and their BJ leader in the face like standing on your own garden rake.
That’s about it, right?

i listened to it too - it was everything that was wrong with interviewers too - just continually trying to get controversial sound bites for the news piece (on now!)DeskJockey wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 8:10 am Listening to Michael Gove on the news this morning, he epitomizes everything wrong with politicians. He won't answer questions and spent the entire interview dodging, distracting and spouting nonsense.
Edit: listening to Jeremy Corbyn isn't much better!
You knew that making some incorrect amd excitable comments would draw reaction from someone that wasn't in the woodwork more like.Orange Cola wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 6:12 amKnew that would pull someone out the woodwork!
